I recently stayed at a lodge near Mt. Rainier National Park and was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Mountain View Lodge - No Pets Allowed. The management was friendly and the room was modern, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Despite paying considerably less than I did at a Marriott, the style, comfort, and finish of the room exceeded my expectations. The whole area surrounding the lodge was beautiful and serene, with gorgeous trees and perfect landscaping that perfectly complemented the mountain region. It was a truly enlightening experience, and I would love to return and stay longer.

My stay at Mountain View Lodge was simply delightful. The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful and beautiful little town in the Northwest Wilderness. The complimentary breakfast, although a bit crowded at times, offered a decent selection of food to start the day. I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Limited dining options. The town of Packwood was very small and had limited dining options, which made it difficult to find a variety of places to eat.
