Staff Excellence, Great Location, Clean Rooms

The staff at this hotel truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. the location was perfect, surrounded by shops and with easy access to major attractions. the rooms were impeccably clean and modern. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide more variety in the breakfast options.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean with a good street view. the breakfast was a HIGHLIGHT. Would stay again! Rooms are better than in photos.

Stayed at La Quinta, found the best staff ever. Big rooms, prompt AC maintenance, great location with ample parking. Allowed early check-in, safe area near attractions and amenities like drugstores, restaurants, and bars. Comfortable bed, delightful breakfast service. Upgraded to a spacious suite, perfect for work and rest, with clean facilities and friendly atmosphere.

Sagged twin bed, remote lacked batteries. No complaints.

I always return for a city trip. Staff gave me a local food delivery number on my first stay. The place suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, fitness studio, and flat-screen TV. Plus, the bar/lounge area is great for unwinding.

During my transit stay at La Quinta by Wyndham Chicago Downtown, I appreciated the convenience of the Washington/Wells transportation rail stop, offering easy access to the city's famed attractions. being a mere 10-minute walk from Ogilvie Transportation Center and a 5-minute walk from Quincy made it incredibly convenient for me to explore the city easily.

While the overall stay was satisfactory, the parking situation was a bit of a hassle. I had to figure out parking times through a separate app, which was a little inconvenient.

My recent stay at this hotel was surprisingly pleasant! the housekeeping was on point, with clean rooms and fresh linens. the staff, especially Samantha, was amazing - very apologetic and sweet. the breakfast selection was great with plenty of choices, and the dining area was always tidy. the location is ideal, just a short walk away from major attractions like Millennium Park and Navy Pier.

There were a couple of things that could be improved upon. the parking costs were a bit steep, and it would be helpful if the hotel provided more transparent information about these fees upfront.

Venturing out, we unearthed tantalizing Thai treasures near La Quinta. From the zesty noodles at Noodles & Company to the sweet surprises at The Cupcake Counter, our taste buds were on a wild ride. Plus, the bustling Chipotle and cozy Halsted Street Deli kept our foodie hearts content.

Tom O'Connell, a character we met, added a quirky twist to our trip.

room cleanliness could improve

We had a great stay at La Quinta! The location was excellent and the entire facility was impeccably clean. The bed was soft and the showers were nice, providing a comfortable and relaxing experience. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Additionally, the parking situation was a bit confusing, but we managed to find a more affordable option through an app called Spot Hero.

I got great value for my money at La Quinta! The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a great view of the main street. The location was perfect, just a few blocks from Willis Tower and close to the river. The staff was polite and courteous, always willing to help.

The breakfast experience could be improved with more variety.

As a family with 2 small kids, we loved the spacious rooms with plenty of lighting and interesting decor. The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful, providing us with bus schedules and even a walking time estimate printout. The bathroom was beautiful, and the beds were comfortable. The fridge kept our drinks nice and cold, and we appreciated the simple temperature control for each room.

Felt lucky, no complaints.

Comfortable beds, quiet 9th-floor room, great continental breakfast with hot coffee and friendly serving staff, nice view of downtown Chicago, very nice staff, convenient downtown location.

There was nothing I didn't like.

My friends and I had a lit time in Chicago and the hotel was perrrfect! We hit up the dope jazz scene and partied hard in the cool clubs downtown. The room was sick, with chill vibes and comfy beds. Plus, the location was major--we could easily hit up all the hot spots without stress.

It would be awesome if the hotel had a rad rooftop bar for us young peeps to keep the party going after hitting the town.
