The location was perfect, right in the heart of Old San Juan. I loved being close to the oldest church in Puerto Rico and being able to explore the city easily. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a beautiful terrace and a cozy breakfast room where I could meet other guests. The decor was charming and gave the hotel a homelike feeling. The staff were super-nice and always available to help. The breakfast served "serve-to-your-choosing" style was delicious and included in the stay.

The ambiance of the hotel was amazing, with its beautiful artwork and historic feel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants. Plus, the rooftop area and courtyard were stunning.

There was a lack of front desk attendants during the late night hours, which was problematic when we had an issue with the AC in our room. Thankfully, we were helped out by staff at a sister hotel.

I recently stayed at Villa Herencia for 4 nights and it was a delightful experience. The hotel exudes Puerto Rican charm with its cute and clean decor. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, even allowing for a late check-in by sharing the entrance code and key instructions beforehand. The location couldn't have been better, with plenty of sights and dining options nearby. I loved the romantic canopy bed, rooftop hot tub, and the presence of friendly neighborhood cats. The blend of historic and modern elements in the architecture and artwork added to the overall appeal. It was hard to leave this beautiful and secure property.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, nestled right in the heart of Old San Juan by a beautiful shaded park that allows for leisurely strolls down to the ocean. The rooms are small, yet charming and cozy with an abundance of old-world character. The staff is top-notch and incredibly helpful in offering dining suggestions and accommodating requests. The rooftop terrace is an added bonus, providing a view of the city.

The hotel could benefit from additional parking space or a clearer explanation of where to park in the surrounding area.

The location is simply the best, near to all of the most interesting things in old San Juan. The room was well-decorated and very comfortable. The internet was excellent when working. All staff members were helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Herencia. The charming small hotel in old town was perfect for exploring. The rooms, although small, had a unique and old villa-like feel to them. The staff, especially Rico and Johnny, were incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to hang out. The upper patio with a hot tub and the guest bathroom on the main floor were convenient amenities. The location was excellent, and the rooftop terrace was a great spot to relax and enjoy drinks. We would definitely stay here again!

We especially enjoyed the daily breakfast, which consisted of boiled eggs, yogurt, toast and jam, cereal, and tea and coffee. this hotel provided a pleasant and homelike experience.
