We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Bella Vista. The owner went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. When we arrived, our room was already warm and inviting, a welcome relief from the chilly weather. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The views of the sea were an added bonus. The motel's location was convenient, just a short walk from the center of town. Despite being on a busy road, we found it easy to cross. The staff even called to check on us after a snowstorm, showing their genuine concern for our safety. we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Bella Vista for anyone visiting Hokitika.

This place is located in a great area of town for us to attend all the functions we had to attend. The service room service, housekeeping, and shops/commercial services were top-notch. The room amenities were excellent, with ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the garden furniture available. The shower and toilet were clean and the free toiletries were a nice touch. The kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and cookware was very convenient. The electric blankets on the beds were a pleasant surprise and the television and radio provided entertainment. the room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed.

That the location was a bit noisy with traffic from the main road outside. there were no movie options available on the TV, which would have been nice to have during the rainy downtime.
