The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. The room we stayed in was basic but clean and comfortable, providing us with a good night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was the delicious dinner we had at the restaurant. The food was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, the breakfast spread offered a wide variety of breads, pastries, fruits, cheese, and meat. With excellent value for money, we were overall pleased with our stay at La Bonne Etape.

If you prefer staying in the center of Amboise, this may not be the hotel for you. Additionally, although the breakfast had a wide selection, some guests mentioned that the cakes and pastries weren't always fresh.

The reception was so friendly, the rooms were spotless, and the free shady parking was a bonus. The location was perfect for exploring nearby towns and villages. The on-site restaurant served mind-blowing food and the breakfast spread was jaw-dropping. Despite being on a main road, the rooms were well-insulated and we didn't hear any traffic noise at all. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely terrace. The hotel had a French provincial charm and was reasonably priced. The gentleman at reception was super friendly and helpful, and all the staff were excellent. The food in the restaurant was absolutely superb, the best steak we've had in our five years living in France. The room was a good size and everything was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our disabled friends. Dylan and the other staff members were amazing. The food was excellent and the wine selection was superb. They even gave us a map for the vineyard visit. We will definitely be back.

Located by the river with ample parking. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, and pleasant dining rooms with attentive service. Range of menu options, including complimentary amuse bouche. Breakfast buffet with a variety of items and excellent coffee. Would stay again.
