The breakfast was very good with a nice selection of pastries and fresh fruit. The location was great, right in the center of town and close to all the shops and restaurants. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff who were always ready to assist.

Additionally, the bed was uncomfortable and too hard for a good night's sleep.

During my stay at Maison Vauban - Hotel St Malo, I was impressed with the excellent location, just steps away from all the attractions, shops, and restaurants. The room provided was the perfect size for my family of three, with a separate bed for my child. The WiFi was also reliable throughout our stay.

The hotel is situated right in the center of town, making it convenient to explore all the attractions. The receptionist is extremely helpful with parking queries and can speak English well. The room, though small, has a comfortable bed and complimentary water. The breakfast is nice and provides an authentic experience of French culture.

The hotel lacks additional facilities and the reception is closed in the evening, slightly limiting the overall convenience.

Reception and breakfast room are a real feast for the eyes - I felt like I was in a modern art museum. The staff was so kind and helpful, it's a shame the hotel couldn't provide magnifying glasses for the tiny print on the menus.

I had to strain my eyes reading the menus in the restaurant - they really need to invest in some larger fonts.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in a central and convenient location. The staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel made excellent use of the limited space in St Malo, and it was a great base for exploring the historic port. Additionally, finding parking in the evenings was easy, and the complimentary coffee was a nice touch.
